    Day 1 - Saturday

You will be met at the marina by your skipper. There will be welcome drinks onboard to meet your fellow sailing crew and we will advise the best restaurants for you to try.

    Day 2 - Sunday

Morning starts with a full safety brief on yacht systems. Set sail for La Gomera with practice drills in reducing sail and get everyone settled onto 'Merlin'. Relax around the bars and restaurants in historic San Sabastian offering great food.

    Day 3/4 - Monday/Tuesday

After preparing 'Merlin', depart for Santa Cruz, La Palma. This will be the first full day of sailing but typically we will be in with plenty of time for dinner. The marina offers great facilities with WiFi etc. There are plenty of fine local restaurants for you to explore.

You have a day to explore this fascinating island from it's ancient geology and fauna to the historical capital Santa Cruz.

    Day 5 - Wednesday

The west coast of La Gomera is our next destination where we will stop for the night at Valle Gran Rey (Vueltas). This is a small fishing village offering an amazing selection of restaurants and cocktail bars.

    Day 6 - Thursday

Providing you have survived the night ashore, the weather is suitable and we have a confirmed berth , we set sail early for El Hierro and Puerto La Restinga. This is the smallest and most westerly island in the Canaries.

    Day 7 - Friday

The sail back to San Miguel is the longest passage of the trip (approx 75nm), but by now you will be well equipped to undertake it.

We will visit one of our favourite restaurants for drinks and dinner before retiring for a well earned sleep on 'Merlin'.

    Day 8 - Saturday

Depart 'Merlin' at 10:00 by the latest for your return trip home or perhaps to continue your holiday in Tenerife.
